The Amercian Bald eagle
It was around 2008 that I overheard a conversation indicating that Bald Eagles were being seen in the Houston area. I remember thinking these people were obviously mistaken and must have been referring to some other kind of bird. I offered my thoughts to them suggesting it might have been an Osprey they had seen. They seemed positive and I walked away with a great curiosity that needed to be curbed. A walk on the Katy Prairie not long after I unknowingly photographed my first Eagle
Later that same morning it was confirmed. And so, begins a quest to photograph Bald Eagles.
